It's a solid 4X + deckbuilder; great for a faster paced Civilization/4X experience with aggressive deckbuilding mechanics determining your decisions and actions each turn. Beware: there is no undo button, and misclicks are a thing. Here's to hoping they include one in the future.

Highly entertaining, educational, and cutthroat. A perfect virtual board game for friends or to burn hours of your life with "one more turn."

An excellent digital edition of a great asymmetric wargame. Thematically aimed at those who loved Redwall, Mice and Mystics, and Watership Down. I would prefer them to add more than four players supported, like the expansions allow for in the physical board game; I assume this will come in a further update.

It's an absolute blast of nostalgia, with the refinements and remastered graphics better matching what my faded memories recall than the original spit and polish does.

The fact that they're supporting the games with patches is fantastic as well! Well worth the money (especially to make networking easier)!

Early Access Review
Game is amazing. Definitely one of Supergiant Games' best. If you're a roguelike fan, but wished there was more story elements to keep you playing (not just gear unlocks) this game will have you hooked.

Excellent, deep, detailed 4X game. It's been expanded upon and supported for the past 5 years, and holds up amazingly today.

Super slick 2D platformer with a stellar, if short, story. Difficulty curve is pretty reasonable, and it's one of the few games I actually enjoyed doing speedruns for.

Excellent digital implementation of the physical game. AI is very well balanced, with Hard AI being legitimately hard. Unfortunately, there is almost no multiplayer activity, so I was unable to review playing against real people.

502 hours in, and I can comfortably say I enjoy Civ 6 more than Civ 5.

Not only is the game fantastic, with excellent gunplay and story, but the level of challenge through simulation is amazing. I love the fact that you can disable the additional assistance and HUD-help, and play this as a true sniper simulation.

Sound design is excellent, textures are very good (could always be improved), and effects are stellar. The X-Ray killcams never disappoint, nor do they ever get old.
