This is a very cautious recommendation. The game is full of small bugs and occasional crashes. It's also poorly optimized for what it is. The Staff of Command is completely unusable for some reason and is seemingly not going to be fixed.
You can still buy it if you really want to experience Gloomhaven and cannot use physical version or find it too cumbersome.

I did not think it would be worth it, but the improvements to the original game are very noticeable. The game looks 10 times better but mechanics feel exactly the same.
Also there is like 10 hours worth of commentary and a few new levels. The commentary ranges from sleep-inducing to very insightful and interesting.
Overall, buy it if you really like the original game and want to replay it or if you just really like Jon Blow's voice.
