Buy this game and write a recommending review like this one just to make all the people that feel they should get it for free angry. They'll spam the No button harder then we spam the space bar when zombies are grabbing you.

Is this a game? I honestly have no idea... The real question is should I recommend it...well, it's actually pretty satisfying to watch the numbers go up, there is a very small amount of strategy involved with the angel investors and the game really doesn't take that much time to play, so I guess I can recommend it in good faith.

Elite: Space Trucker. I say this as a compliment, this game is unique as it's one of the few games to truly embrace what is required for a game to have serious longevity, massive amounts of boredom seperated by instances of knee jerkery.

What I just said probably won't interest most players though and that's the real shame here since this is an incredibly well done experience. The level of immersion in this game is borderline annoying but somehow that just makes everything better.

In this quasi mmo experience you are not a unique and special snowflake like in every other mmo experience, you aren't here to save the world, you are not the prophecy fufilled and no one cares about what you do. Just attempt to learn how to pilot your ship, try to make money and generally just get by...and that's pretty much everything you need to know about this game.

I recommend everyone buy this game not because I know every one of you will like it, I want you to buy it to give more money to the developers so they can continue expanding this amazing game, but if you don't like it and you feel you wasted your money then you should come back here and say "This review was helpful" because clearly I warned you.

Seriously, I really did my best to warn you.

This game should be renamed to 7 Years to Make.

Skyrim meets Darks Souls meets Don't Starve. One of the main reasons why this game is getting bad reviews right now is people can't handle the steep learning curve. This game is made to be difficult and being so early in development isn't making the difficulty any easier. So if you buy this game, expect a challenge.

Now with all that in mind this game is still very early access so there are things that really don't make any sense like the deersharks and the fact that you can't craft forges, but these are all things that they already plan on fixing. If you decide to buy this game expect issues, expect to be annoyed at the quirks, but also be pleasantly surprised at the amount of regular developer feedback.

If Signal and Digital DNA Games keeps up this level of feedback (weekly streams and Q&A's) and development continues at roughly the same pace as it's been up to now this will be a very solid title. With Digital DNA's history on Xbox, the fact that they continued development on games like Castleminer and Castleminer Z for years after they were released and even going so far as to try to bring CMZ to the PC I have full confidence that this title will get just as much dedication.

If you own Terraria and liked it, then you seriously just need to buy this game now. This game is what Terraria should have evolved into. This is not a copy of Terraria, neither is it just 'similar', this is literally what Terraria would have been today if the developers kept working on it.

Epic co-op based multiplayer.
