Legitimately impressed with how many small details and QOL improvements there are that make the game so much fun. Doesn't feel like an Age of Empires game which is weird to say but I promise you its good. Just got done with a mongol invasion against china with a friend and it left me wanting to play more.

Only complaint I had was the lack of nations to play as compared to previous games but each one can be very different depending on which you choose to play as, and after playing as the mongols and seeing all the different models, sounds, and unit upgrades that actually change what they look like I honestly didn't even mind. 10/10 On this one, very fun, excited for mods/tuning packs.

Its pretty good however-

Biggest Issues:
some of the companions are a bit annoying and the Crusader Army mode is horrid. Why does my melee unit have to move just to attack someone right in front of them? Even when they don't it will randomly make me move my unit to attack (which caused me to lose an entire unit of archers, who you shouldn't even bother getting). The enemy also has some sort of vendetta against arches, as they will relentlessly attack them no matter the cost. Oh and if your archers are caught in melee? whelp your screwed, melee units can move and attack, while archers cannot. The crusader mode combat in general was a bit of a let down, why not just have your army in real time, I want to feel that im commanding an ARMY not a few guys/gals with numbers below them. If its a matter of frame rate issues then why not do waves of units in real time (Like the rest of the game, unless your turn based) where you can do actual tactics and not just "move there, hit him, move there hit him". The defense of the tavern was awesome and its what the Crusader mode should have been like. Another issue is randomly getting stuck because of that one door you missed because of the camera. I spent 3 hours in the Grey Garrison because I missed that damn room on the second floor (That's where the key is btw). The game will highlight and mark loot and people but not doors that help you progress? Keep in mind most of the doors you need find are insignificant looking or just..well..small, and VERY easy to miss.

To sum up:
Its good, but

Please make some changes/add a separate option for real time crusader mode where you can actually see the battles take place.

And for the love of god, please add an option to highlight doors!

Playing with a buddy right now, and I gotta say I love it.

The biggest problem i've seen so far is the non-cooperative battles... I mean... really?
You can have such large scale battles, and yet you cannot call your allies in to fight with you?
Me and my buddy tried for a solid hour to get in a battle together and it seems to lock the others units into the battle but they cannot participate and they cannot move out, leaving them stuck in limbo until the fight is over.

AMPLITUDE Studios, PLEASE add cooperative battles or fix this possible bug? I'm pretty sure Endless Legend had Coop battles so I'm not sure why its not available in this one.

Sound design is very attractive, especially when you turn the music off (which I recommend) and just listen to the distant gunfire. Love the way infantry rag-doll after being hit by a tank round or explosive, although I wish there was an option for all infantry to rag-doll no matter what the size of the round. The Infantry skins are nice although there are some that have some issues with certain weapons (Mainly handguns, oh god their poor arms). The dynamic campaign is WAY better than the CTA version, less of a battle zones battle and more of a frontlines sort of match, with there already being defenders setup on the map ready for you to punch through. There are some issues however, sometimes random crashes which I rarely encounter, as well as infantry randomly aiming funny or if they are behind cover they sometimes stop doing reload animations but the bolt gets pulled back? Overall there does seem to be several improvement's to the MOW formula and yes, there are things that need to be fixed, however this is an enjoyable title and I do hope that add some more game-modes like the FOB capture from CTA and frontlines from MOW:AS2. I also noticed the flags at the top had the Finnish, and Italian flags merged with the German flag for the axis faction which makes me wonder if they will be coming in a later update?

I really hope they fix up their game, similar to how no mans sky did. I was very excited for this title, and I did try and power through it but I just cant find any enjoyment in it. Its just so...lifeless.

Its feels the same way the game Outward feels: clunky, awkward, and just not right.

This review pretty much sums it up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwMmTtgLMBI

God I hope they improve it, and I recall an article mentioning future dlc's being a thing? Atm those dlc's better be free for how much content people paid for here.

I will change my review if there is some sort of improvement!

This ♥♥♥♥ pretty fun tho, feels like its "from the depths" except its 2d, and doesn't make me want to blow my brains out..most of the time. I could spend hours in the ship designer making random creations that will probably die after a few seconds or landships that will also (hopefully not) die in a few seconds. Its almost impossible to make the PERFECT ship so it may take it bit for you to find your "groove". The multiplayer is fun too, and conquest mode is where the game really shines. It's fun negotiating with friends or randoms about which territory you wanna take or declaring war upon them and losing all your ♥♥♥♥ to some really op building (not really, but it can happen). This is before the Diplomacy update which will supposidly add truces, ceasefires, alliances, war, coop missions, the ability to upgrade cities, aswell as other cool ♥♥♥♥. The only issues I have with this game would be how "sticky" ships and landships are to each other. ATM you can pretty much take down any size ship by ramming a small ship into the top of it or dragging it into the side or ground rendering it "immobile", which means your going to lose said ship once the battle ends. Ships will get stuck on each other and it can be annoying to have to unstick them from every little thing they touch. Also, landships will pretty much just move into a straight line into their death because uh...they cant move past each other. please.. MAKE THINGS LESS STICKY! Also, please add an option to not pause multiplayer conquest whenever some is in a battle. It slows the game down and you have a group of 8 trying to play it turns into a slog. Maybe just make it an optional setting, and if someone is in a battle and if they do get attack just auto-resolve it? Or just start up the battle if it's another player and after they finish the previous battle, allow them to hop into the on going one. Other than that AMAZING GAME 9/10.

I keep seeing reviews mentioning “Spongey” enemies, and I actually had the opposite to spongey enemies, I was able to two shot Adam smasher (Granted I was on normal) and this is for literally every boss and enemy. After finishing the main story and doing most side quests I stopped and looked around to see a lot of nothingness? Like there is stuff going on, but not much to really interact with. Yeah there is random gangs you can find and kill or gigs which are fun but other than that there isn’t much life to the world? Story was very well done though and overall I loved the game. Would recommend for the very cinematic and story driven cyberpunk universe that is presented. P.S Melee is OP, literally can finish any fight in seconds.

SO, this is coming from someone who *tried* crusader kings II, and my experience was... well lets just say "less" than enjoyable. I actually saw this on top selling and thought "Oh god, they made a third one! gross!". I retract that statement as this game is absolutely fantastic. I've played EU4, and HOI4 so im not new to paradox titles. The overall graphics of this game including the UI are pretty f*cking good, compared to paradox's earlier titles (Except stellaris, dear god that games a gem). The amount of fun and interesting mechanics you get to play really sell this game for me, aswell as all the mini events/decisions that are thrown your way. If you are new coming in I HIGHLY suggest spending like 20-30 mins in the tutorial (Trust me, its worth it).
