I feel bad saying I wouldn't recommend this game to others, but the port that Steam is using is very buggy; audio miscues, character model collision errors, clunky movement (possibly the just the age of the game but I remember it being better). Not to mention it took me about an hour to get a controller to work. I refuse to play this on mouse and keyboard. Also no achievements. Is this a Ubisoft issue or Steam? Moving to AC2 next, hopefully that works better. I am not expecting much until I get to AC3 or Black Flag. I will be so upset if Black Flag runs like AC1 did.

Ignoring all the issues of this port, it's the origin of one of the longest running AAA titles in history. Don't shy away from an old game because it's old and clunky. Some of it gave me good laughs. I just wish it was taken better care of.
