Game's good, it's fun. The mechanics of the gunplay and movement are slick and offer a challenge beyond 'press r to reload.' You can get crazy momentum, lose it in an instant, fantastic stuff.

The only downside is the so thinly veiled it may as well be nude fetishistic guro and the rather exponential map sizes later on. It's just too much, but that's a personal opinion. Otherwise, push past it and enjoy GOON Eternal.

Congrats! You've finally got the game, you're ready to take your first steps into the Bayou! Now, just sign here, here and here and you'll be on your way to become a certified AHA Hunter! Fight the monsters that infect Louisiana, collect the bounty from the big uglies and work together with some other friendly hunters to make sure you do it right! Oh, just uh, beware of traps, the local fauna, less friendly hunters, stepping on a stick, running on metal, bringing something expensive, daring to check your shoe laces and taking a deep breath of fresh air.

It's a genuinely great time, so great that my cranium no longer exists from the amount of target practice I've been used for. I rate this a completely arbitrary number out of thirteen chili dogs.

Overall, an amazing game. Got this for PS3 before I had a gaming computer and I loved it. Shame the couldn't add the DLC's and most patches to PAYDAY on PS3 and Xbox though. Get a group of friends and go to town. I especially love the Train Heist. Shh, it's a secret. It involves a little more gun.

I'd definitely recommed this game to anybody who enjoys high-paced, fast-action teamplay. This is a difficult game and has a relative decent learning curve, not too easy, not too hard. I'd have to say that the Defensive mode is lacking as there is no claer victory and the best mode is Escape, in which everybody works together to survive. Not the best, and far from worst. I'd say a 7.5/10 just because Defense has no clear goal other than survive as long as possible.
