Even though I have my fair share of fun with this game, I honestly cannot recommend it.
Cons:
- OWI (the devs) wants to take the game in a rough direction but have no clue how to do so (more below)
- Random stuff gets added based on "wow" factor, not remotely based on balancing
- Gun handling feels awful. Anything shot on less than 100% stamina goes in a pretty much random direction and weapon sway when getting shot at is turned up to a million. Dying often feels more like bad RNG than your own fault.
- Lots of bugs are in the game and keep getting added (even significant game breaking ones are added in large updates and kept over months - e.g. "Logi-Bug")
On a technical level the game is crap:
- It runs superbly inefficient, so be ready for huge frame drops and crashes depending on your luck with your computer. Capable gaming machines usually cap out at 50 FPS.
- Updates take unbelievably long. It's not influenced by bandwidth or a faster computer. It just takes ages, deal with it.
- Your settings frequently get reset between updates. Who needs them saved anyway? The default ones are fine at blowing out your ears on startup!
- Inconsistent internal naming makes modding and API related stuff an absolute nightmare.

I like the game because of strategy and player interaction, not because of the infantry shooty-gameplay. OWI wants to take the game from strategy on a macro level and make it all micromanagement (shooty-focused). However, they fail spectacularly in achieving this and make the game worse for me (enjoying the macro game) and the micro (shooty) players at the same time.

Especially at the huge 49 € Price tag I do not recommend this game for shooter-lovers nor strategy lovers. It really doesn't achieve either.
The fun I'm having is more an accident on OWIs side. They really seem to have no clue what they're doing.

Amazing. Basically Garry's Mod in VR with lots of game modes to play. Note, that "Pavlov Shack" – the Quest Store version is in Beta and Free and just as great!

This game is an outstanding Coop shooter with great spelunking, an amazing art style and lovely characters.
The worst part is convincing everyone you know to buy this game, so you have friends to play with. Public lobbies are welcoming and solo play with black works very well, too though.
It's great! Buy it, play it, love it!

Not too spooky, but hella fun!
  • Fun
  • Free
  • Simple to learn
  • Nice crowdsourced story it's based on (SCP Foundation[www.scp-wiki.net])
  • Quirky
  • Has it's spooky moments
In a nutshell:
Install it! There's no reason not to!

A neat game. Solid gameplay, good graphics, neat jokes - not much more you can ask for.
I like it :)

Sick of Gmod being left behind for Rust by Garry? Switch to Rust!

Ok, but Rust is a really good game. It has great graphics, is well-optimized, has a lot for you to do and does not really have any bugs. Warning: you should team up with friends or some other people if you plan on playing on a large PVP server.

It's one of the good Early-Access games, not like 7 Days.
I absoloutely recommend Rust, one of my favourite games!

7 days is really bad compared to it's competitors.
It has bad graphics, uninteresting repeating actions and is pretty much not optimized at all.

I'm guessing, this game will be one of those games, that call themselves "Early Access" just to justify their bad everything forever aswell.
With potato-like-graphics you'd think loading wouldn't take long at least, but this game proves you wrong!
I wouldn't recommend this game at all. To anyone. Ever.

The game has a lot of microtransactions as well through the in-game currencies. That on it's own is a reason for me to dislike it already. But rather than continueing with what I hate, it's easier to say what I like about it: the graphics. That's all..
