Silly, silly, silly. This game is an incredible amount of fun, though if you're squeamish at the prospect of flying digital guts and blood...well why are you looking at this game?

But in all seriousness, the style is smooth and visually grabbing, the controls only mildly frustrating when you're on a time crunch (Use two hands, Nigel!), and the enjoyment factor is up to extremely satisfying. My favorite bit is that it even includes a side mission related to my favorite game Team Fortress 2, which if you haven't played, do. The menu is also them most uniquely extensive I've seen, and so much fun to interact with. Warning: You may become so distracted you forget there's an actual game attached.

The only time Surgeon Simulator has frustrated me was when I was going for a couple of especially difficult achievements, but even then I still liked it. I mention this because if you have patience issues, you may find less enjoyment in it than I did, but I'd still urge anyone to try this game.

I've never enjoyed MMOs because they all look the same and the communities aren't pleasant to deal with. With TF2, I find myself enjoying a significant decrease in jerks, and a community that enjoys supporting a game they love; even contributing material.

As for the look, I adore the highly-stylized, almost cartoony appearance, and the way it doesn't take itself seriously. So many little in-jokes and hysterical lines. I appreciate such loving details; it's perfect for what I want my games to be, not to mention the thing is FUN to play. Amazingly balanced, unique class playstyle on familiar class names, and I don't dislike playing a single one. There's a reason this is my favorite game, and has been consistently since my "hire date".

In short, go play this thing, because it really is "the most fun you can have online".
