enjoyable, challenging puzzle game.

many yawns. original Doom and Doom 2 are the two classic Doom games worth playing.

Highly recommended. It's a beautiful short game which aesthetically has a lot in common with Journey. You will get the best out of this game with a decent graphics card and a controller.

Reliable, satisfying Ace Combat gameplay.

In my opinion the storytelling and dialogue in the main campaign is terrible, it's very 'anime' and makes me cringe. In one early mission you are have to protect an aircraft which contains 'The ex-President' and 'Colonel Johnson', with callsigns 'Mother Goose' and 'Big Bird'.. I honestly thought that the developers were taking the p**s at that point.

But once you get past the cliched cutscenes and annoying chirps from your wingmen, the combat action is good.

The predecessor to this game, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon was very good and it's a shame that it was taken off sale, but there are still keys for it out there if you know where to look.

The concept is awesome, and for the most part this game is excellent. However in my opinion the walking speed *is* too slow, even for this sort of game.

Yes, it's cinematic, yes, the player should hopefully become absorbed into the beautiful surroundings and story... but when you're 90 minutes in and trudging down a country path, only to later decide you want to go back on yourself and check that house over there out, it is a definite hindrance. There is a sprint button, but even then I didn't find myself to be moving at a satisfactory speed.

A great game with one major flaw.

This game does have its flaws, but I would say that it also received more than a fair share of bad press. Since its release there have been some pretty significant patches and a mod which improve the playability of the game massively. If you are a fan of the Alien universe then the action in this game will entertain, for sure.

I would argue that the best feature of this game is that you can play through the campaign and in modes like Bug Hunt in co-op, and there is still an active multiplayer community.

original and entertaining, highly recommended.

I'm the best at clicking. Well actually I'm the best at repeatedly spamming Enter and Numpad Return until I get an RSI, but you get the idea.

As far as i can tell the only purpose of games like this is to hook people in to the endless cycle of 'do something which presents zero challenge, get a reward'.

Eventually you will feel so invested that you can't back out now.. so how about these in game purchases which will save you some clicking time and give those precious tendons in your wrist a rest?

If you're looking for Steam achievements the Super Blue Boy Planet is free and will save you a lot of time.

after several hours of mind numbing clicking I can confirm that this certainly is an original game.
