AoE4 is an essential game for new and veteran RTS gamers.
I've been a fan of RTS genre since forever. What AoE4 do best is that they compressed all the flavor of all classical RTS game into one package.

They have enough symmetry between civilizations yet are still asymmetrical enough so players keep coming back. Moreover, developers are listening to community feedback and keep balancing the game. Even though AoE4 doesn't bring new mechanics or anything too exciting, I feel like new stuff isn't the developer's goal in the first place but making a refined classical RTS that everyone can recognize and go back to at the end of the day.

I thought this game cannot gets any better, yet Valve prove me wrong in every single update. Thanks Gaben our Lord and savior.
