Pretty fun game, if you're an aviation nerd then you'll love it. Tank combat isn't really that great, but that's because the playstyle isn't for me. Navy isn't bad either but it's even more boring somehow. Got to Japan 12.0 jets in under 700 hours. The sweet spot for air combat in the BR system is 8.0.

I've heard a lot of people complain about this game, and while I agree with some critique, such as the rather poor anti-ramming measures taken by the developers for the online scene, and the lack of cars compared to other games in the franchise. However. It's one of my favorite titles even then. Forza Horizon 5 is an overall great experience if you're like me, and don't get bored by just playing the game, even if at this number of hours, where progression feels like it no longer exists, it's a great buy for veteran gearheads and student drivers alike. Most of the engines sound great, the tuning and driving feel good and engaging, and unless you're someone who tunes at least 2 cars a day like myself, there's plenty of cars to choose from. The balancing leaves a bit to be desired, as there's always just a set and defined "meta" in these games. With all that said. I'd recommend it, but.. wait for a sale. The online community will probably make you want to slam your router in the trash then go cry in the car if you're new.

Haven't played any of these since Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies on the PlayStation 2. The gameplay is entirely based on pilot skill and sometimes special weapon choice, which gives a lot of the power to decide fights in the hands of the pilot himself. There's never truly a poor mismatch in aircrafts, unless it's say... a Darkstar. Darkstars are DLC and also need specific builds to counter them because they're simply too fast, and this is my only gripe with the game. Otherwise, I think it's great and I highly recommend anyone, new to the series or a returning veteran, to consider picking this up.

Overwhelmingly great, I had so many years of fun with this game, hopefully new players that are in this game or the sequel will enjoy it too! I can help teach anyone the basics if they're in need to learn them.
