Seems pretty good, but I might need a few more runs to decide.

Jokes aside, this is one of the only games ever that has properly incentivized playing at the highest difficulty level. Regardless of the frustration, the variety of weapons and paths to explore always kept things fresh. It truly exemplifies what I love about roguelike games, and action RPGs as well.

Early Access Review
They mixed Tetris and Balatro. Two of the most simply addictive games of all time. What's not to like? It's a bit light on content for now, but it's getting better with every update. Turning your block pile into a beehive, a pirate crew, a casino, a library, a dungeon, a nuclear reactor, a band, and a mine all at once is certainly an unforgettable experience.

This is definitely my favorite deckbuilder. The balance is questionable, but the core gameplay is so fun it always has me coming back. If you're going to make a tactical card game, this is the way to do it.

The gameplay would be pretty solid if it wasn't the buggiest mess I've ever encountered. From the moment I booted it up the game was acting strangely, only opening in the background and requiring me to manually minimize Steam to even see it. After that, the opening cutscene was abruptly cut off near the end, and from there on after, everything from the tutorial to the main menu to the first solo missions were plagued by constant interruptions due to a lost connection to the server. Even reading something on a single screen could be interrupted in this way. On my last mission I ran into a glitch that caused most of my abilities to be disabled. If this is what the single-player content is like, I dread to imagine how bad the multiplayer would be.

Update: I've had a significantly smoother experience after that first session. It still stutters or skips occasionally, but no major disconnects, thankfully. Having gotten to play the game properly, I managed to enjoy some aspects. It seems a bit barebones in some regards, and the number of garbage items I have to sort through is rather unpleasant. I don't really know what I want to do with the crafting system, and frankly I'd rather not deal with it at all. I hope to try out classic mode soon, as I'm very fond of roguelike games. I just wonder if there's actually enough content to justify it.

Custom dog, unique items, adorable enemies, groovy soundtrack, quick gameplay, unlockable hats, high skill ceiling, lovely developers. What's not to recommend? Do you hate dogs? Tape a piece of paper or something over the left side of the screen. Don't want to hurt the bees? Pretend they're wasps. Don't believe in magic? These are just funny dice. All you have to do is roll them. And buy the game, preferably.

As much trouble as that last trial gave me, the ending was well worth it.

But please, developer, add some more options regarding viable evidence in act 5 - 7. I was pulling my hair for hours on Celeste's testimony.

I would consider this an early access game, but the development is promising. There is a lot of content planned for the future, and the balance is being adjusted with each update. Assuming everything on the roadmap comes out okay, this may indeed prove worthwhile.

A pretty accurate depiction of the human mind, and a delightfully musical one at that! A short, easy, and insightful adventure.

I see a lot of people have concerns about the amount of content in the game, but I found it very replayable! There are plenty of random events and layout changes, different strategies to try, and items to find! Even after 70 hours, there are still some I haven't discovered. I've had a lot of fun in both solo and co-op, and it absolutely is doable in solo! There are a lot of tricks and nuances to figure out to streamline your gameplay, and as long as you're observant and experimental, you will improve steadily as you figure things out.
