There is something delightfully zen about this game that makes the challenges of connecting the stops a worthwhile challenge. Always a favorite to play for an hour or two.

A refreshing game on the surface but the devil is in the detail to win. Game Dev Tycoon goes through the history of the gaming industry very accurately (with some non-infringing names for companies and their products) and takes you quickly along for the ride starting in a garage and growing into a studio with people working under you. I enjoyed the standard-style of the tycoon genre (steadly increasing your funds and fame while watching new options open) but thought that it could be improved with difficultly levels (something harder and easier). 7/10, would play again.
