Update patch 1.0.84

It breaks my heart to do this, but while I still love the game, there are still too many bugs for me to recommend it in good faith. I don't mind minor bugs, but it's not out of the realm of possibility you'll get hit by a bug that prevents quest progress permanently or makes you lose items. I save often so I can roll back (though it has only happened to me once), but this isn't early release anymore. Once the bugs are fixed, I'll go back to enthusiastically recommending this game. But right now, I just can't.

Let's get this out of the way: as it stands, the English is iffy. It is perfectly intelligible, but there are typos, weird phrasing, and sometimes text overflows the limits of a box and thus cuts off.

If you can look past that, you'll find a great farming sim with colourful characters. One of my favourite things is that characters have "inner worlds" -- you see the character surrounded by things important to them, and you can investigate. They may tell you more about an item. They may kick you out of their world if you touch something sensitive. They feel alive.

I think that's what makes me love this game so much. It feels full of life. Characters have their own varied relationships among themselves, which get registered in the character encyclopedia as you discover them.

Gaining their favour can be easy or hard depending on the character. You can be best friends, you can be lovers. (Right now not all same-sex pairings have confession cutscenes, but I expect them to be added. I'm not sure all characters are player-sexual, some may have a preferred gender. Sadly, gender in this game is binary.)

There's so much to say about this game. But what I want to convey the most is: if you feel you can put up with the subpar translation (assuming it doesn't get fixed for release), and the rest sounds interesting... Give it a go.
