It's been 2 years since I've finished this VN, and it's always been on my mind.
I wish I could forget the story just to experience this beautiful VN all over again.

Playing Rental gives you cute animal crossing game vibes with the additional style of the old horror game aesthetic.
I love the bunny characters, especially the main character Umi with her Ojamajo Doremi reference. 

Although I want to warn all of you about that labyrinth mirror maze.
Personally, that place gave me a nauseating experience to the point that it made me dizzy.
It's good that the gameplay is short but- if you can't get enough of Rental,
I recommend watching MoFace's analysis in YouTube for deeper lore theory.


TLDR: Game good but labyrinth bad. 10/10 recommend preparing painkiller for the potential headache that may come.

This game brought me to a very beautiful adventure by being in the character's shoes/perspective. There were funny moments, sad moments, warmth, & bittersweet goodbyes. It especially hit me hard because my best friend actually passed away recently. I cried a lot but it made me smile, thinking that she might be in a place similar to the one in this game. I actually found her comment in the discussion section and it seemed like she actually played this game around 3 years ago and enjoyed it so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Laura Shigihara, for touching our hearts by creating this wonderful game. Someday, I will meet her again, maybe in a place like Rakuen.
