I enjoy the game play loop. I agree with the devs, it's not a game for everyone. That being said if you're a fan of tarkov and don't mind the jank of *current Early Access bugs then welcome aboard scav.

The water system has been a hard knock for most. That being said in the 15 hours I have spent in the game so far I have already obtained 44 days worth of water. it is not hard to obtain water. It appears that all quests are repeatable, even the first one (extract from scorched enclave) which means you can easily farm water without the struggle of searching.

The maps are a little rough in terms of collision with the player but absolutely stunning in terms of art direction.

But again, as I write this, its early access... I feel like some people forget what that means. The devs stated on steam alone its at least a year out from full release. So buyer beware if you don't have the patience to deal with bugs and submitting constructive feedback outside of "I don't like this feature" then wait until full release.

Great horde shooter with progression and co-op play. Really enjoyable with high intensity moments especially when mistakes happen, which they will. If its your chain lightning your buddy or a grenade getting thrown and bouncing at just the right angle.. Theres chaotic fun to be had.

HOWEVER people are talking about a root kit, GG, or Nprotect, being a kernel level anti cheat... which is common in models such as easy anti cheat and battle eyes. Do the research, the game runs great and there are not many programs having issues with Nprotect. Furthermore, I was skeptical as well hearing about it, but the devs have OPENLY STATED THEY WILL WHITELIST ANY PROGRAM THAT CAUSES ISSUES AND IS KNOWN TO NOT BE A BAD ACTOR!

I hate to say it, the 2.0 update is a downgrade. Huge issue is the way the game plays. The visual upgrade is good but the rest of the game just... unfortunately falls apart. Playing the original back in 2016, playing it again earlier this year, and playing it now... it is really unfortunate to say its not even worth your time on sale.

I have changed my opinion. Simply put the ideals that are reflected by DE have evolved as many do when producing products for a live service game. I feel that my previous review's voice had been heard indirectly.


The game has been through a long 11 years. There is an awful lot of content to get through and tons of fun to be had. The biggest problem is due to the rough early game. The new player experience is rough. Look at the wikipedia damage page to learn how to best mod your weapons. If you can do that you can make it through anything with your weapons alone. Warframes can get insanely power tripy once you learn how to make them work even better.

This game is full of fast paced fun and content. It requires patience early on due to the rough early game. Beyond that you can find community resources everywhere. Hang ten tenno.

Beautiful game with challenging teamwork and squad based game play. Definitely requires patience in order to get into with friends. I haven't played the single player much at all but honestly for the multiplayer its definitely something to pick up with friends when it goes on sale!
