You love beat 'm up and metroidvania? This game is for you, with some extra cuteness, bird, eggs and paws to your face.

The goods:
+Gameplay
A beat 'm up metroidvania is the best kind of metroidvania imo, it feel so good doing combo. The control in this game is tight.
+The soundtracks and the sound effects
The soundtracks are so catchy they would give you eargasm. And the sound effects are just chef-kiss.
Actually i think both give you all.
+Characters designs
IMO this game have the 2nd best characters for a metroidvania, and boy aren't they cute.
+Writing
The story, the world, and the characters are all very interesting, some moments are really great.
+Graphics
The art style isn't exactly crazy, but lot of works and souls was put into this game for sure, except for that one water attack, every else was well animated, for the kind of look this game went for.

The mehs:
-That final boss fist attacks need to torn down lol, too powerful
-Can't actually pause while playing, quite troublesome when you're in boss battle and need to pee.
-Spikes are instant death and send you to last checkpoint(don't worry majority of them aren't far away)
-Apparently the game suffer some censorship, Kotora 's cleavage in the steam banner(same for PS4) have been covered, her sprite doesn't match her art work(she wear a different dress in the game, maybe to cover her cleavage?)

I will give it a 8/10

As a fps melee combat horror game, it have the things i love:
+The atmosphere hit just right, great even
+The sound designs and soundtracks are great
+Melee combat with parry, kick, kick object to deal damage, kick enemies to their dooms, all feel very good
+Snuff film tapes!!!
-Kinda short
What i think the developer can do to improve if they going to make another game like this:
*More weapons, including guns
*More enemy types, like a heavy
*Make the combat feel more smooth, just look at the condemned series
*More content, make it longer

A lot of the praises i had for The Citadel could be apply to this sequel.
The goods:
+The gunplay is just as great as the first
+The musics are a big improvement over the first game
+The writing is also a huge improvement, the story telling, the characters are very interesting for me to care about, i didn't expect myself to be this attached to the characters but here i am.
+The artstyle seem to be improved as well
The meh:
-The enviroments, or biomes, are almost the same, just like with the first one.
-The performance, my pc is more than enough to play this game, but for whatever reason, it doesn't seem to utilize my hardwares enough to maintain 60 fps in few occasions, especially the bigger fight.

Overall, its a great and unique game that you will have a hard time finding the sames.

I bought the game expected it to be a super hilarious game that doesn't take itself seriously all the time, what i get is exactly that plus some good shooting mechanic, a story that i enjoy from begining to end, somehow got attach to the MC and now want this to become a series.

+Visually the game look very good
+Atmosphere is amazing
+Sound designs are very good, creepy when it need to
-Optimization could be better
-Seem like A-life 2.0 isn't finished
-/+ Im not sure if i can consider this game to have in-game economic issues, i do think the idea is good, you need to take good care of your gears or find new ones, maybe it need some balances.
I find the game to be very enjoyable, sure some nitpicks here and there but it's also a very addictive game to me.

+Another half-like, and an amazing one.
+The "weapons" are fun to use.
+The movement is too good for this kind of game.
+Puzzles are really good, make me feel dumb sometime.
+Story is very interesting, at the moment.

+The writing here is amazing, the characters and story are very good.
-The port, it lack so many settings, including graphics setting, you can't change the resolution, the game will run at the resolution you set for your monitor, meaning if you set your monitor at 1080p, the game will run at that resolution, well at least the game doesn't have any trouble keeping a steady 60 fps, oh yeah it 60 fps locked too
-/+ The musics is a downgrade compare to the first game, not terrible but not as good
-/+ The atmosphere isn't as good as the first game

Overall i still enjoy the game, it is definitely not buggy and broken like the port of the previous game.

A very very beautiful platformer with amazing soundtracks.
The art style here is amazing, probably one of the best 2D art styles ever.
Almost cry at the end.

I like what seen here, sounds, atmosphere, combat.
I would like more enemy varieties though.
Maybe a combo system like condemned 2 would be great.
