Genuinely such a fun and interesting game to play, to be open minded, to be a sceptic, to be everything and nothing all in one.
The music is lovely, the art just as much, even in the horror aspects.
Highly recommend, very much a beautifully fun little game.

Good aesthetics, bad development, bad fan base

I am so overjoyed to have this game officially, for years I've played this game with the unofficial translation, played countless hours, both in DMMD and DMMD:Reconnect. Has a great story, a little iffy in some areas ( if you know, you know ). Honestly, worth the money, and I am so happy to be able to support this game's Western release, it's about time, and hopefully the 'sequel' will be released with enough sales of DMMD.
Steam's release unfortunately is censored, however you can buy a 'dlc' from JAST USA's site containing their uncensored patch, this includes both sexual and violent cgs, and for the first time ever, NO PIXELS. The patch is easy to install and no issue, so voila, the game in all it's uncensored glory. Now time to get all the achievements!
If you know this game, or even of the anime, please do support and try it out, the story genuinely is an interesting one, and hopefully our beloved little 'sequel' will be released!

Honestly, before the entire rework, I adored this game - it was one of my favourites, if not THE favourite. It was entertaining, exciting, thrilling - but now it is anything but, each game is an annoyance, it's no longer fun to play. Rather than it just being a meh game, I fully dislike it now, it's become pretty much everything TO dislike. The objectives are now much harder, ridiculously so, and give less for more work than previously - the whole generator thing alone is ANNOYING, if I want to fix generators I'll go play Dead By Daylight, which in it's own right is stupid at times, but hey at least it's addictive and fun, unlike this - which now is just downright unlikeable. You no longer know who is who at 'night' now, so have fun guessing who turned, unless you follow everyone and see them turn. Defending the gens is stupidly hard, killing is ridiculously hard, it's broken to ♥♥♥♥. Even though I happily spent money on it before the rework, wish I never did if this is how it's ended up, it's terrible for everyone that knew what it was like before this.
