Probably the most realistic strategy and tactics of all the Civ games. I only have three complaints. One being the inability to stack units and tiles, the other being the length of time it takes workers to complete upgrades on tiles (mostly because you can't stack units). The final complaint is one I have had over the past few games; that gunpowder units don't have an advantage against primitive units. In fact, some of the primitive units (i,e, the Lancer) have attack strengths higher than certain gunpowder units. Other than that, it's a fun game and worth buying, if you enjoy turn-based strategy games.
