I was expecting worse, the puzzels are actually pretty decent, the movements and mechanics are pretty bad though. I love how it looks.
Its free, I highly recommend at least trying it out.

As an addict, I was rather dissapointed in the story/dialoge, It was obviously not written by or guided by someone who has struggled with addiction. Im not done playing it but i was really excited for a sad story involving addiction, instead (probably unintentional i know) it felt sort of like a slap in the face to the people who actually deal with this ♥♥♥♥.
Oh and you dont hallucinate from absinthe

That being said, at least as of right now (I will edit this as I play further if any opinion changes) It feels nice alot of the time... until it doesnt. I love the asthetic! It has very interesting concepts and mechanics not all of them work correctly or together well.
I really want to like this game but I dont.

Really enjoyed this game, it seemed well thought out, the pacing of new things you need to manage or do is very good, keeps you from feeling overwhelmed but not bored either. At the same time this isnt a game I want to play through again, at least for a while... although I might be looking at the workshop, that might bring a bit of new life into it.

I really dont have much bad to say about it other than if you are gaming on a potato laptop the little balls that float up on the screen can be more demanding than you would think a game like this should be. Oh and figuring out and fine tuning the time spent in each category of a game can take forever.

Good game, I think it was well worth it.

I enjoyed the game quite alot. Gameplay was very nice feeling. I thought the story was surprisingly good. Rich and pretty fleshed out universe. Runs pretty well... even though, as far as i know (I didnt exactly spend hours looking up a fix) it seems to be locked at 60. Visually it can be a very impressive game especially during certain sections of the game, although close up, alot of the textures are pretty mehh even maxed settings.
Im not one for 100%ing many games but I probably will with this one just because I really like it.

Short, pretty easy but it was alot of fun and a laugh.
Not much else to say about it.

This game brings me back to 2004 big game hunter, where it was all open hunts and not this linear guided missions that we have gotten for the past 10 years. Its open hunts are nice, the mission style hunts are still open you just have a goal and then the pro hunts are the only thing that are extremely linear and you cant do anything but what they want you to do.
I genuinely enjoy this game, granted i am a fan of this genre too but i feel even for the average person this could yield a fun experience.

What i liked-
Non-linear game play.
A decent amount of weapon, sight/scope, call and bullet choices.
I feel that the balance between realism and user friendly gameplay was very good Not too realistic to require hours of waiting and what makes for a dull game, but also not to fast paced.
Runs pretty well on a relatively under-powered machine.
Big maps to explore.

What i didnt like-
Not very pretty, it looks alright with the settings up and the animal models are pretty nice but other than that the textures are kinda crappy looking.
Not everything is explained in the beginning so it took a little bit for me to figure everything out.
Even if you do well on every hunt you still are going to have to grind on open hunts a bit to get all the money to buy all the equipment thats needed for other hunts.
The reward system/how you earn money has little if anything to do with the actual score of the animal you take down and is pretty much entirely based on how you kill the animal. So if you were to shoot a 5 point buck that is low scoring in the heart, the game would reward you more than if you took down a 12 point massive buck by a lung shot. Which just encourages the player to shoot whatever is easiest to shoot and not go looking for the big one.
Cant replay mission hunts

Overall i would recommend this game to anyone that likes these types of games. I would also suggest this game for anyone that thinks they might like these types of games as it is the best hunting game i have played yet.
