"Όμορφη και Εκστατική" -Beautiful and Ecstatic

Assassin's Creed Odyssey goes way back to 430 BCE taking to Ancient Greece while in its Glory 2500 years ago, where the Fathers of many fields were born amidst the iconic wars between Sparta and Athens. With a lot of famous people including Leonidas, Pericles, Hippocrates, Socrates.. The game never ceases to provide depth to whatever it offers, not just the main story but also every single side quest, you will always find yourself dazzled and totally immersed in the game. The huge 256 - 260 sq.km Map of ancient Greece has everything to offer in its own glory and each location you visit, welcomes you with a unique twist of culture and you can literally feel the satisfaction your heart gets when you visit them. Now why this happens might be due to the fact that every structure in the game is totally true to the real structures found in modern Greece. The Temples, Arenas, Theatres, The seas, vegitation, fauna, mountains, districts, cities, villages, forts, etc. are all very true to reality.

Now, to talk about the features of the game... so we have a BIG AF Map with sufficient Water for you to travel on your Ship, yes you get a Ship like in AC4 BF to fight and salvage other ships, and many islands and vast lands to conquer and explore with all the structures true to real life Greece back in 430 BC. The missions are very immersive. I played as Alexios to keep that original Assassin's Creed Vibe going on and spent around 77 hours in the game at the time I wrote this review, of which, around 50-55 hours were spent on the story which explains how big the game quite is. There is a hige list of around 50 "Cultists" who are also targets and you must kill them. Some of them are encountered via main story quests while others are found via side quests and some are discovered by acquiring clues to their hideouts and whereabouts.
The level up system is well built and you can level up by grinding on with many side quests and bounties. You are basically a mercenary (Misthios) who can fight alongside Sparta or Athens and that's a choice you can make that won't actually affect the main story. BUT, The choices you make are certainly gonna decide the fate of the story. And many such choices, are to be made with precise decisions. Wrong choices can end up killing certain main characters and the story progression might go sideways or other ways.. As you go through the quests(main, side, bounties, exploration), you unlock various weapons and a lot of Legendary weapons, armors and such customizable equipments which can all be upgraded to the highest level you are on with certain looted resources and this gives you the option to make your character look as you like them to. Along with this is the ABILITIES, there are certain abilities that can be used for combat on the press of a button. For your archery, you can use up to 4 abilities among many you unlock and for melee you can use up to 8 abilities among the many you unlock and each can be leveled up to 3 levels of power and maxing it all out and using them in combat, changes the whole combat mode and makes you feel like you are the one man army. The enemies can be less forgiving and you surround yourself with too many of them, you might not be able to make it out alive.

Totally Recommend this game and I value it 10/10. The game definitely deserves Game of the Year for its wonderful and magnificent build, and also the Optimization is very good, performs well on most machines without taking up much juice. So stop Stopping and head over to the store and buy the game. There's absolutely no regret. It is super safe to say this game is one of the best in terms of everything that the Assassin's Creed Franchise has ever built.
