A less gruesome cousin to Danganronpa, but fun and enjoyable.
It's not perfect and the dialogues gets long and repetitive at times. The puzzles really hold your hand, so you could probably solve them without even investigating.
But great characters, great overall story and great world building.

maybe I would have finished if not for the 932482358 missable collectibles

I was a little indecisive whether to give this a positive or negative review. I enjoyed it... at times.
But the negatives just took so much from the overall experience.

On the positive notes:
- The atmosphere was great
- The world building and overall visuals are great
- I care about the main characters
- The story was interesting

But...
- The game had some major performance issues (BSOD thrice)
- It's very linear and even though some choices prompts an "the story will be afftected by this", it really doesn't
- .. Which makes it extremely weird when some situations plays out awkwardly even when you make the objectionable wrong choices. You spill the beans to the wrong person? No worry, they don't have time for you anyway
- It's impossible to miss clues or deduce incorrect theories. It's not required to do any kind of thinking, problem solving or puzzle solving
- The controls are SO. CLUNKY. I tried both kb+m and controller, and both sucked
- The conclusion is thoroughly unsatisfying.

I REALLY wanted to enjoy this, I feel like it was on the right track. But it's missing those elements that make LA Noire and Murdered: Soul Suspect really great. So.. no.

the chokehold this game has on me

Nice game for those of us that enjoyed Beyond:two souls, Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Heavy Rain, What Remains of Edith Finch etc.
However:
- Way, way too many collectibles for such a short game
- Very easy and lackluster detective work
- Pointless rating system.

It was still a cool story and fun overall experience.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE

I wish I never played this so I can play it for the first time again. Crying over how amazing this series is.

This game was:
- Predictable
- Unsatisfying
- Where the f was the draug
- ANNOYING

This game was not:
- Fun in any way whatsoever

The game promises dynamic dialogue and a realistic companion. It has exactly none of those.

The music was nice. Gråvik looks nice. That's it.

This was free, and I still want my money back.
