Compared to the 2014 edition, it is a little rough around the edges, with a fair few techniques missing, but just like Rock Band was a useful tool for learning to play drums, this works even better with guitar and bass. Obviously, most of us exclusively play the 2014 edition nowadays, but it's still worth getting this one just to add the songs into 2014 and play them with even more accuracy.

The character's constantly on the move, no matter what you try to do with the controller; the best you can do is send them in the opposite direction, or look around. This game is as broken as Matt Hardy, but not in a good way. DELETE!

If you're after a trucking game, stick with SCS Software's Euro/American Truck Simulator games; this is a lot more rough around the edges and doesn't play as well.

I like to consider this as The Legend of Zelda for people who don't like Nintendo games. Me, in other words. It's a great challenge, it's got lots of good gameplay, and it's dirt-cheap.

On the surface, this looks like a Lumines clone, but thankfully, it's a lot more than that.

For starters, Chime is easier to play than Lumines (seriously, I still can't for the life of me work out the puzzle modes in Lumines), it's more relaxed, and despite having a smaller soundtrack than Lumines, it works out better overall.

The big selling point of this game is that it's for charity. All of the songs in Chime were donated for free by the original artists (BTW, the PC version here contains a bonus song; "Still Alive" by Jonathan Coulton, from Portal. If you want more songs, get the PS3 version; that has even more than this one). The proceeds from this game are all donated to Save the Children, and the Starlight Children's Foundation.

This is a game made by a non-profit developer in the name of chartiy. For £3.99, it's a bargain. Right now though, during the Christmas sales, it's £1.99. At that price, I'd consider it a necessity.

Coming from someone who pre-ordered it when it was just over £6, I cannot recommend this game enough! It's hard to explain it properly, but it's just so fun to play, and it's crammed full of Monty Python-style humour. It's also got online modes too, plus a Skeeball-style game mode. :)

If you want a game that'll relax you and chill you out, this is for you...

...well, until you reach the later levels, then it becomes frustratingly difficult! :P

But still, it's a great little indie game which I was fortunate enough to get as part of the Humble Indie Bundle 2. :)
