Rimworld is a game that seems pretty basic on the surface. But once you get into it on the higher levels, it's a roller-coaster that sets out to ruin your day. Nothing like having your chickens open your colony's doors during a raid and letting in all the bad guys.

Many years ago, a game called SWAT came out. It was a godsend for people like me with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ CS Skillz. A tactical shooter that did not fully rely on lining up the perfect headshot. A tactical shooter where getting hit in the leg meant you couldn't run. A tactical shooter where the guy with the most kills did not necessarily became the top scorer.

Thanks Sierra. For the memories.

Alot of skeptism about the game before I bought it. Ubisoft has become ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over the years. Their stupid $80 divison was a crap shoot. Assasins creed multiplayer was fun, but that means you had to buy the single player hunter simulator.

But, wait a minute... Though R6 is not a carbon copy of SWAT, it has still managed to bring a smile to my face. Finally, a tactical shooter that plays extremely well. It may not be a full on tactical shooter like SWAT, but neither does it take away the magical moments where one man can win a game 1v5.

There are endless possibilities on how to approach each round as you figure out a way to breach the room and secure the objective. This ensures that the game does not feel stale after a few months of playing.

The DLC is not forced on you. You buy the DLC, you get the operators earlier (5-7 days). If not, use the farmed in-game currency to get the operators.

I think this game will restore some faith that I had in Ubisoft.

My advice is to just go for the full game with all of the add ons. Adds pretty nifty features to the game and makes it more complete. Although to me, I think that they purposely gave us half the game and left the rest as add ons for us to pay more money. Meh.
