As many other people have said, once you install this crap it eats your CPU alive (made me start dropping frames in beat saber of all things. HOW) , constantly force runs in the background and is just about impossible to completely get rid of.

People have been complaining about this for months and it doesn't seem that the devs care even a little.
This is a HARD skip and, honestly, should be deleted from steam entirely.
This is just malware with extra steps.
