It's a solid game which has anything that you expect and more, it has great deal of action mechanics, good ways to keep your hype up until the end and memorable characters (Metro series is a good example, I think your team here looks like what you have in Metro, and I liked the characters here more.)
And I did not expect an entertaining plot, the story is not complex but the world and characters and atmosphere are attractive.
About the cons, Well there is Uber difficulty, enemies spawn out of nowhere (I see when one of them spawned in front of me) and a single soldier can kill you in one or two seconds. I always like a good challenge but it's a lazy solution to make the game harder.
The weak points are not visible in enemies, for example there are many types of heavy and super soldiers in the game and almost all of them are more vulnerable from behind but there are no visual clues to help you understand this. ( and seems like they have noticed it, this problem was not bothering me when I was playing Old Blood.)

To the people who think that the gameplay lacks action and excitement;
The game will keep you in once you understand it's mechanics, the action and excitement will be along the way too.

It's a great RPG experience which shines with it's unique narration and it's ways of customization; These two here, are more than powerful enough to keep you entertained.

Even if you don't want to listen to all the things or notice everything, you can be that kind of character as well. It's like the real world, not all things are important to every one. (and the game notices it, it notices which topics interest you more and shapes your experience. I remember that one time I watched my friend playing the game and his experience was quite different compare to mine because of his different character build)

And there are some unique things and themes in this game that you have not seen before, from a company who develops "Radio" Games, to a man who hunts imaginary animals.
