The atmosphere is absolutely perfect — eerie, lonely, and beautifully unsettling. The art style and music do a fantastic job of building tension without relying on cheap jump scares. Every knock on the door fills you with paranoia — do you trust them, or risk starving alone?

But as much as it nails the mood, it falls short as a game. It feels more like an interactive book or art project than something meant to be played. There’s no real satisfying gameplay loop, and replaying just to unlock more endings feels more like a chore than an incentive.

It’s haunting and creative, but not much fun to actually play.

I actually really like the core of this game — it’s a fun, satisfying management sim that really scratches that optimization itch. But it honestly feels abandoned. There are still bugs, missing polish, and parts of the game that just don’t make sense. If it ever got proper updates and fixes, it could be amazing. As it is now, it’s good… just not as polished as it should be.

Silent Hill f completely drew me in from start to finish. The 1960s Japan setting feels fresh yet perfectly fits the Silent Hill spirit. Exploring Ebisugaoka was both beautiful and terrifying — some locations (like the scarecrow fields and the school) honestly stuck with me long after I put the controller down.

The atmosphere is unmatched. Sound design and Akira Yamaoka’s soundtrack create constant tension, and I found myself holding my breath more than once. The story, written by Ryukishi07, is cryptic and layered — I thought I understood it, then the ending flipped everything, making New Game+ feel almost essential.

Gameplay is mostly exploration, puzzles, and melee combat. It’s not action-heavy, but when fights happen, they feel tense and satisfying. The puzzles really reminded me of classic Silent Hill — clever, challenging, but never unfair.

I finished my first run in just under 9 hours and immediately started again. That says a lot. Silent Hill f isn’t just a good horror game — it’s one of the best I’ve played in years.

I had been looking forward to The Callisto Protocol as a spiritual successor to Dead Space, especially since there are so few sci-fi horror games and it came from Glen Schofield himself. Overall, it’s not a bad game, but far from what it could have been. It feels like a mix of Dead Space 3 and Resident Evil, without taking the best elements from either. It fails to scare, relies too heavily on shallow melee combat, and suffers from a weak story with a laughable twist. Technically, it’s in decent shape now. But despite the budget and potential, The Callisto Protocol ended up a creative failure—a forgettable game remembered mostly for landing on PS Plus and the Epic Store rather than for its quality.

An outstanding sequel that surpasses the original in every way. The story and setting are compelling, the Marker narrative is genuinely intriguing, and the gameplay systems offer real freedom of choice. Exceptional sound design elevates the tension, making it a lasting experience. A definitive masterpiece.

A fantastic remake that respects the essence of the original while upgrading visuals and controls. It offers flexible playstyles, making it both an outstanding entry point for newcomers and the definitive way to experience MGS3 going forward.

The Rogue Prince of Persia isn’t reinventing the roguelike wheel, but it sharpens it nicely. Smooth combat, clever features, and a fresh take on the formula make it a solid pick for fans of the genre.

Trepang² nails the gunplay—fast, brutal, and super satisfying, like Doom’s chaos mixed with F.E.A.R.. But everything outside the action falls flat: stealth is clunky, the story is a cliché, and missions repeat the same formula until it gets dull. Great for mindless shooting, but nowhere near the depth or atmosphere of F.E.A.R..

It’s such a charming little puzzle game, and I love how the design makes all those tricky logic puzzles feel playful instead of stressful. The various locations keep things fresh, though I’ll admit some of the challenges can start to feel a bit the same after a while. Still, I was hooked enough to keep playing all the way through, and I’m glad I did.

It's like doing real estate in Balatro except this game is worse and lacks the strategic depth. You can skip it and just go back to playing Balatro.
