Visual Novel Maker is a very fast, easy, (pretty fun), and powerful engine that can do many things to bring your Visual Novel to life. VNM is a great choice if you want to start writing & making visual novels for a couple reasons: The first being that because it's such a powerful engine with so many effects and other things it is great for anyone who wants to use this as their main visual novel creator engine. Second being that it's fairly easy to use; you can take the path to coding and scripting or just simply use the tools in the engine.
The only bad thing about Visual Novel Maker is the bugs. There's quite a few game breaking bugs that need to be fixed, along with some minor ones that only require you to restart your game. However, the developers seem very engaged with the bug reports and it appears that they're working on all the bug fixes (and perhaps new features).
Overall, Visual Novel Maker is a great engine to use for a long time.

And before I present to you the pros and cons, I want you to know this: What makes Ravenfield the best game ever are mods. I recommend playing the normal version until it gets repetitive for you, then downloading mods and having fun with those.

Pros:
Unique, yet perfect graphics
Not BADLY optimized (I listed this as a pro in comparison of other games)
Fun, fun, FUN!

Developer is very engaged in his community, + sends out frequent updates. + the updates are filled with new stuff and bug fixes, and updates release every single month - which is a LOT for a lone developer making this game
Addicting (pretty time consuming, which can be good in some cases)
Nice(er) community (it's not the kind of 'Minecraft kids' community)
Cheap! Only 15 bucks for this game, and it goes on sale once in a while, too.

Cons:
Bugs (quite a lot, but like I said: Steelraven7 (the developer) releases bug fixes (+ new stuff) every month.
Gets repetitive (which is when mods come in)
Some mods can crash your computer (or game), so be careful.

SO TIGHT!

Probably the most intense, realistic WW2 game on Steam

Super fun game! May not be for everyone, but it's still super fun!
It does have a bit of a learning curve, however, so you do have to have a lot of patience when you first start out. I learned from YouTube videos on how to play this game.

Pros:
Pretty good graphics
Great optimization
Awesome retro background music
Super fun (once you learn)
Updates are constant from the developer (also very interactive with the community)
Construction & Research System is great

Cons:
Some bugs
Can be frustrating at first

At $10, this is a very fun and time consuming game!

Very fun but challenging game; recommended for anyone who wants to blow a few minutes here and there.

Ah, man. I can't say how much this game got me.
I felt so connected with the characters, just has I did with the first one. (sigh), when you guys are playing this game, don't rush, take your time, and enjoy it. I got both the good ending and the bad ending, and both really got me.
