I have very mixed feelings about this game. It's generally a really neat game with pretty good visuals and unique animations. I think on a fundamental level, the game is fun. But just as every other review as noted, the optimization and the sheer amount of bugs is frankly bothersome, especially at a price point like this. No matter how powerful your setup is, everywhere you go you WILL encounter an immense amount of stuttering, lag, graphical glitches, and general game-breaking bugs. The save system is pretty annoying but I honestly don't mind it. My main issue with this game right now is the "unfinished" aspect of it. I wish game developers tested their game significantly more before release. Generally, I would recommend this game but lower your technical expectations when going into it.

If you're looking for a legitimate scare, this game probably won't be for you. It's a really fun action packed game, but it has nowhere near the atmospheric horror that Resident Evil 7 had. That said, I'm loving this game. The visuals are incredibly stunning and the sound design is flawless. The game is definitely very unintentionally goofy at times, which I personally liked, but again, if you're looking for legit horror, this is not the game for you.

Incredible game, poorly optimized.

Great game with friends, but dear god is the fanbase toxic. There's often a language barrier and people like to randomly spam the emergency meeting button and vote out randoms because "haha funny".

good game i think

The game itself is fun as hell. It's an extraordinary game that I'm such has filled many of our childhoods with nostalgia. Halo 3 is one of my favorite games of all time, and nothing can really change that.

With that said, this PC port is OKAY. There are many, many bugs and co-op is a bit buggy at the moment. I'm sure they'll work on fixing that in the future, but right now, the issues are still present. I will say the ultrawide support is INCREDIBLE. I love it so much. And the game runs pretty damn smoothly on my PC, I'm able to maintain 144+ FPS on my 200hz ultrawide.

With the game only being 10 dollars, it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ steal. I'd recommend this purchase, even if you haven't played Halo 3 in the past.

This is an incredible game. I'm glad it's finally getting the attention it deserves.
