What is there not to like? Vermintide with guns

After hours of gameplay (not through Steam) and many years of enjoyment, recent developments in the game have cause me to judge this game and find it wanting. While in-game purchases are often the hallmark of free-to-play games, the past year or two has seen the developer try to squeeze every last shekel from the playerbase - perhaps to compensate for economic misfortune on the homefront, or simply avarice and greed. I could go into specifics but this is a review, not an article in The Guardian. I, for my part, will be abstaining from War Thunder for the foreseeable future.
