Tried all the fixes offered on various sites, all of which are just brain dead nothing fixes. Is your internet on? Did the game get installed? Turn you VPN off from relaying through Mars. Is your Recycle Bin empty?

UPDATE: Despite there being zero information on this you need to create a account at id.embark.games, the error could say this but it doesn't. The game could let you know, but it doesn't. There could be any number of things they do to stop people from falling into this issue but they don't. And just like them its super simple for me to change my review but if they wont put the smallest of effort, why should I?

Before i say anything i understand that ark claims to be early access. Ark is an amazing concept, its beautiful and grand. but after years of being "early access" its still only a concept. The developers add so much content and new things to do. The only problem with Ark is it unplayable and not as in "omg its so hard, how do i survive". The Ark Dev team has never heard of optimization, bug fixes or balancing. I own a above average gaming computer and i can barely play Ark on its lowest settings and god forbid i open anything else in the background.

Fps drops, freezing or complete game crashes accompany you every where you go in the game for example. Entering a cave, going underwater, loading player made bases, flying, opening beacons and even dying. Then after the pretty Ark slideshow is over you are dead, or restarting your computer from a crash. Then you're dead. But hey its only a 2 year old early access!

All that and Studio Wildcard, Instinct Games, Efecto Studios, Virtual Basement LLC want you to buy their early access DLC for 20$.
