Tried single player mode, quit after half an hour because I hadn't seen a single reason to keep playing. Slow and sluggish action with inaccurate controls and unsuitable camera angle, boring incremental upgrade system, no plot or characters to speak of, cookie cutter quests of the "kill 5 bears" variety.

Slightly janky controls at times. Characters are flat and stereotyped like in 80's saturday morning cartoons, and there's no sense of self-awareness to lighten things up. Plot mercifully nonexistent. Still a pretty entertaining game at least for one playthrough. Collectable ability-granting stuff and the challenge posed by in-game "badges" may motivate you to play more.

Wonderful co-op action game where you combine runes to cast any of thousands of different spells including electric volcanos and health-giving landmines.
