snakes. blocks. my two favorite things in life combined in one beautifully crafted game. at times i found myself thinking "man, this game would really be the ♥♥♥♥ if i had a few more snakes and a few more blocks", and BAM, more snakes, more blocks, more puzzle fun. definitely an enjoyable experience from start to finish!

Risk of rain is an action/adventure game with roguelike elements. It is extremely difficult, however I think the difficulty serves to help the game, not hinder it. Dying is and has always been part of the fun of any game with roguelike elements. The game is not hard to dive in to, and RoR's randomly generated worlds and enemies keep the game feeling fresh after every play through. There is a good amount of characters available to unlock that I have yet to be able to explore, and on replay value alone I would reccomend Risk of Rain to anyone. On top of all of this, I am excited to try out the co-op element of the game as well!
