Was good even when first released. Was compared too much to Warhammer II at release after WHII got years of updates and dlc while forgetting what WH2 was like at release. There was the debacle of Shadows of Change.

Now... Warhammer 3 is da best, I have many hours of playing it, the devs took the lessons from Shadows of Change, improved Shadows of Change and have made some damn good dlc for it with free content to boot.

Best Warhammer Fantasy game and probably the best Warhammer game in total [pun intended]. Stick your Emperor, stick your Space Mar....Ultramarines, your cookie-cutter Mary Sues whose extraordinary feats are entirely common place, stick your antagonists whose only purpose is to die at hands of Ultramarine x, stick your Abaddon was totally just as planned when he blew up Cadia, Promise. Yeah right. 40K doesn't have Sigmar, Skaven, Chaos Dwarfs or Lizardmen or even Settra the Imperishable. Fantasy characters tend to be much better as characters instead of Hulk Smash 40K'ers, which while entertaining at first, loses its appeal to anyone over 13 rather quickly.

The next patch [today] even gives a couple of free units for the Greenskins! Its is probably even the best Total War game [no-one sane cares about Total War Center or negative nanny Volound].

Worth the price, Chaos Dwarfs have a diverse roster of units and a variety of game mechanics that make you think about the settlements you capture.

I am happy with the LL amount as they will, like other race packs, get fleshed down the road for free later on [see Beastmen, Wood Elves].

Years of hype. Not saying its awful but I expected more. Its clear that the game favoured Console>PC in its development because they amount of key bindings you cannot change is quite impressive. Now I never played Witcher 3, GTA or Red Dead Redemption 2. Now I believe that a lot of the devs who worked on Witcher 3 went elsewhere though it can be argued that Witcher 3 was released full of bugs too which got fixed later. Cyberpunk WILL get better later just as No Mans Sky did etc. However as it is released I cannot recommend it.

Now I give the opening a bit of leeway but afterwards it has the feel of an on the rails game with a whole lot of empty space on both sides. The police materialise out of nowhere. I cannot really suspend my disbelief for that one. A lot of things you can do you cannot do elsewhere. Say grappling a person, you can only grapple enemies. I can udnerstand that you cannot open everydoor, I suspect those are there for dlc's and modders to use. Thats OK. The various bugs, the models of npcs suddenly changing next save, the repeating car crashes outside when you talk to Jackie, the dumb AI, the lack of character collision [Skyrim did it better]. There are much better open world games on the market atm. I suspect CDPR's desire to appeal to its news stockholders has made the game release a year too early. Its a playable game for sure but does it make me want to play it?

Atm not really.
