There's a tip then. Download the extra plugins for paint.net (search it on Google), install it, download my avatar picture, pick the color of the fur on my OC and search for the effect "Manual Color". It will color all the picture (or the zone you've selected) with the color you've chosen (or picked of course).

I tried that, but the Hue/Saturation color modifier on my paint.net program just couldn't match the exact red I was looking for.

Oops... that's fine because you know, there's a way to make my Sonic. Take a existing Sonic ragdoll, colorize the fur to red, the eyes to blue and the shoes to light blue. And voilà !
