Deliciously dark and eerily addicting. I love time management games and I love it more when I find one without the same aesthetics as every other resturaunt/child care/home decor mommy game. I've played it for 10 hours, I've finished it twice and I still want more. Best $5 I ever spent.

Big pros:

-The start of your day is before your shops opening, so you can take as much time as you like to pre-prep everything you'll need to manage. You'd think this would make things less of a challenge, but it simply adds another layer to what is a careful process.
-Upgrading is completely voluntary. You decide the pace you excel, and it quite literally changes how the game is played depending on what you want to happen next. Can't stress enough how nice this is.
-Aesthetic, Aesthetic, a e s t h e t i c. Nothing like a gloomy london street and nefarious protags with eyes only for eachother. And their work. And cats. And kids.
-The game creates villains from victims. By the time I actually got my scissors in any of the side characters, I -wanted- them dead. That is no easy feat in a game where you're cannibalizing and graverobbing for profit.

The complaints;

I see a lot of comments noting that there is no risk in this game. There is no fear of getting caught, there is only the daily grind of locals. With no way to lose, normally I would say this leaves a gap in the challenge factor. However, I've played a lot of casual games. A lot of time management games. And I can tell you this is the standard formula for the genre.

I'm not playing this game because I want a challenge. I want to be engrossed in my work and the story there in, however repetetive. This isn't Hitman, it's a pub and tailor. The protags have been doing this for years, and they always make tracks before people can even begin to question the sheer volume of disappearances (as was common for the day). You don't even have the authorities as a part of the game because why would they care what a pub in the slums is doing? Nevermind the protags are being blackmailed by a powerful figure who likely disallowed any interference from outside forces.

Simply put there was easy way for a game of this style and mechanics to add "risk" without defeating it's own flow. Which is perhaps my favorite thing about the game. Progression feels natural and low stress. The routine you get into from it is comfortable. Which is what a good time management game should do.

A few things I'd love to see added to the game;

-Cutscene/tutorial skipping.
-Larger action chains.
-More background for our dangerous duo. Maybe even a campaign just for how they met.
-More not-food NPCs.

Otherwise I just want more. In general. More of this because even with a finite amount of game to play, I'm still going to play again.

The first competitive multiplayer game I've enjoyed in years. 100 hours later and I'm still excited to play every day. The game does a great job encouraging you to keep playing with or without a squad to roll with. Ranks, levels, character specific leveling, prestige, cosmetics and increasingly esoteric achievements mean there is always something to do. A goal to work for, without even including the rift. Pay to win is nonexistent despite having an in game currency system, and for every bad match I have with trolls or try hards, there are five that are hilarious, terrifying, or both.

I'm having an actually awesome time even rolling with rando's. A real achievement. A+ DBD.

An occult themed adventure. Very straightforward and on the predictable side, but overall a good time.
