I love space sims and factory games and I tried the demo last year when it was still in deep EA. When I saw some more updates and a sale I got excited and wanted to try it again...but some odd design decisions still remain along with the same jankiness - for example, being unable to conveyor belt through the dock early game to use the resources effectively. Until you get pretty far, you're running around doing *everything* manually. There's lots of clipping too (like being able to build belts inside the planetoids).

I'll keep an eye on the game to see what other development comes out of it, but I can't quite recommend it yet.

It's quite fun if you take it for what it is - a survival game in space with heavy story elements. It sadly doesn't offer a ton of repeatability as a result much like Frostpunk (which this game was definitely inspired by) but has its own charms. The resource micro-management feels like a difficulty-add rather than having reasoning for it, but aside from that, the game is just fine.

I wanted to like this game, but network issues made it impossible to play.

The factory must grow, and the cubes are like jello.
