Never understood the hype till I played it but ... yes can confirm it absolutely slaps

Disregard the low hours, this is the third copy of hollow knight I now own (Gamepass and Switch).

Amazing art style, beautiful soundtrack and a mysterious narrative. This game is a masterpiece for those things alone, but the responsive and rewarding combat and devious difficulty elevate this to a entirely other level. An absolute essential for those who love platformers, but I would recommend everyone give this a try and fall in love with the world like I did.

Came free with odyssey, it's a decent remaster but honestly the original held up well. AC1 was more deserving of a remaster/reboot.

The humour is kinda cringe, but you have enough fun shooting people and skating on rails for it to bog you down for too long.

Extremely fun reboot of the original Doom, gunplay and visuals are perfect. It's also found a way to make me willingly go out of my way to hunt for collectibles which is a rare thing for a game to achieve.
