I recommend a console version (PS3) over this version but this one is still very good. After all it is the same game just it requires a few mods to get it running as well as it ought to.. As for the game itself just get ready for a very challenging experience if this is your first Souls game. It's very rewarding when you finally down a boss or when later in the game you welcome invaders instead of cower from them. There are hackers here and there and that is a problem with all of the versions of the game. It just can not be avoided. From my experience however I have met a ton more legit players than hackers and I think thats how it will be for most everyone. After all this game is only fun and lasts a very long time if you keep the challenge instead of ruining it!!!

Excellent game. Rogue-like with fast paced twitch gameplay. You unlock characters by completing different challenges in game and each of the characters have a VERY unique style of play. If the depth of the game worries you, there's plenty of challenges and a few different difficulty levels. The game can take anywhere from 5-45 minutes to beat but even beating the game a few times it will be highly unlikely that you will experience everything the game has to offer. I got it on sale for $6.69 but even at $10 the game is worth every penny.
