BR games are getting stale as ♥♥♥♥ but this one stands out above the crowd.

Higher TTK than PUBG or Fortnite resulting in battles being determined by "who can aim better" and not "who shot first".

Show Director and viewer relationship actually feels like the Hunger Games take on the Game Master and Sponsors. Make fans with the crowd or the director and you have a huge advantage on the other 9 players. Match-making makes it hard to queue as a show director in order to boost friends. Hard but not impossible unfortunately.

Tracking system is a very, "you can run but you can't hide" sort of deal. Sure you can run for the entire game just zipping across the map but there are so many ways for other players to get your exact location resulting in a very hunter/tracking driven system. Works very nice, camping is utterly useless. Either you run or you fight. There is no hiding in houses.

The take on zones closing never once made me feel cheated like in PUBG or Fortnite. There's teleports on the edge of each zone to take you into the opposite zone and the zones close randomly for the most part which allows you to take the route that you imagine is best and not the route that the game just forces upon you. It was your decision to go to the west zone rather than the east so if you get screwed later you know you could have played it differently. The show director has the ability force you into a bad spot but there are always ways to survive as long as you have enough wood for fires or if you have an electronic that allows you access to teleport or superjump abilities.

Bows take skill to aim with and shoot. The net-play feels very smooth. Never was I shot with an arrow after I got behind cover. Never have I felt that an arrow should have hit someone when it did not. Axe takes some getting used to since the range is very short but being able to time your swings to deflect other player's arrows or snowballs and then going in for the kill has never felt better.

Overall I don't think the BR formula has been perfected because there is always room for improvement but these reasons alone make me feel like it's a massive jump in the right direction. This is the game BR developers need to copy, not PUBG or Fortnite with 100 people and RNG circles and bullets that kill you behind cover.

Then why can i download the game even now that it's closed? Developers too lazy to even stop downloads? Still, if you analyze the days the game was open you can see the playerbase declined pretty fast before servers were locked and it is not normal, especially for an open beta.

It was an open beta weekend. The weekend is over. This is on their store page if you decide to actually read before you comment. Further proving your ignorance to the whole situation.

Our final Open Beta weekend is now over! This means servers are closed until Darwin Project releases in Early Access. Thanks for all your help, and stay tuned for our release date announcement!

Umm, i said that arrows literally follow players, not that i can't aim. For everything else that i "hate" because it must be a good game if you like it, you can read my review or try and remember the original comment. The game clearly states that is in Open Beta and anyone can access it, there is no alpha testing.

I remember one of your complaints was about how the arrows magnetize to their targets and makes it easy for scrubs to aim.

I legit thought you were trolling. Maybe you were and still are, I'm not sure. But anyone who has played the game can understand why I would delete such a blatantly ignorant complaint. Perhaps you just couldn't aim and needed an excuse? Maybe you were just bad at the game and now you are bashing it? What did you dislike other than the "magnet arrows"?

You showed me the steam charts to try and prove your point in that it's already dead even though it's in open beta. It's not in open beta. It's in Alpha testing which a very select group of people are able to participate in and that's why you see such low numbers.

And then you just came out of left field and said, "game that will die on launch / cant cancel your pre-order"
You do realize that Steam allows you to refund any game purchased through them as long as you have under two hours of gametime, right? This is not something any game companies are able to change. If you want your game on Steam there is no avoiding that or getting around the fact that anyone can refund your game.

"I deleted your comment because you were wrong in every single way and your arguments were invalid. Bring up some real criticism next time. I am not saying the game is perfect, there are flaws, but what you complained about was just complaining for no reason. Either that or you didn't actually play the game enough. And seeing as you have 0.3 hrs on record I would say it's the latter. Or perhaps both."

And you are really proving my point by still not providing anything to the discussion. I want to delete everything you've said because it's just all toxicity. That's why I deleted it in the first place. Because I didn't want to get sucked into something like this. Provide some useful criticism, I'm actually begging you at this point.

I provided real criticism but someone deleted the comment because he couldn't handle it.
Mecha 28 feb 2018 om 12:01
Dude can you provide some real criticism please? Instead of just complaining about a game that does not affect your life? All you say is, "trash game", "going to die on launch", get a life bro. There's a reason I deleted your comments that day. You provide absolutely nothing in regards to a real discussion.

Anyway, yeah I'm doing this through mobile because I legit have things to do today. By the way do you get off on this? I really don't see why you're bashing the game for absolutely no reason.

"Productive things" doesn't work as an excuse to run away from a discussion where you are losing and censoring messages. And, as i already said, if "acting like a child" means pointing valid points and destroying the game, then yes, i am.
Mecha 28 feb 2018 om 11:09
"Children-oriented game" yet you are the only one acting like a child.. Anyway I have more productive things to do with my life today. Feel free to comment all you like.
