on yod it’s peak man very unique gameplay, a lovely art style and i really liked all the funny little freaks you meet along the journey (susano’s my goat)

i liked the combat but outside of that its very mediocre, the calendar system does not fit in this game and does nothing but bring the story to a screeching halt, the main dungeons (i played up to the 3rd before dropping the game) were fun UNTIL the 3rd dungeon, it took me barely 30 minutes to beat because it has 3 fights and like 15 minutes of stealth?? outside of the dungeons there's not a whole lot to do, social links are dull because the characters are very flat and samey, mini dungeons straight up just suck and that's about all you can do besides levelling personality stats which mostly just involves you listening to random npc's yap away. they've leaned too heavily into taking features from persona and as a result this game is extremely tedious and way too long.

if there was an option to leave a mixed review that would reflect more how i feel because dont get me wrong i dont hate this game i just hate how good it could've been if atlus weren't so afraid to stop milking persona so much and try something fresher.

as of right now it's already one of the best immersive sims i've had the pleasure of playing, we got ourselves a #CertifiedHoodClassic over here folks.
