Short and Sweet!

Some times you get owned by RNG and have to make 3 batteries, but, all in all, a very enjoyable game.

By far, the best $10 I have ever spent.

The gameplay is fairly simple, but it makes up for it with great atmosphere and anxiety inducing scenarios. Truly a unique, heart pumping, and, most importantly, fun experience.

Lots of content, but not play tested at all. No patch notes, buggy as hell, drones getting converted and one shotting you, 20 second ignites.

Did anyone even play this game past stage 2?

Edit: Now patched, I though it fitting to change my review. However, please take a few hours to playtest the game next DLC before release.

> Traded for game. People tell me this game is broken, but, hell, it only cost me 8 keys.
> Ran for half an hour to meet up with friend
> Be half dead from starvation
> He feeds me enough food to cure the entire continent of Africa of starvation
> Game bugs and the food doesn't register. Continue to lose blood from starvation.
> We decide to get some water at a pond
> Everytime my friend entered the water, his backpack fell off for no apparent reason. I had to retreive it for him.
> Decide to check school for food. Getting desperate.
> Zombie hits my feet through the floor and I go into a coma
> Game crashes and I die
> A few days later, my game gets revoked because it was fraudulently purchased by the guy who traded the game to me

What a great game.

Pros:
- No desync. A person/object is where is appears to be.
- No hackers (yet).
- Should run at around 40-60 fps for most computers.
- Developers will listen to the players and tweek the game within days.
- Will have a Free to Play model that is not Pay to Win/Survive. You can pay for an airdrop, but you have to compete with half the server to actually collect the loot in it.
- Loot caches. You find a key with a letter that contains a hint of the location of the cache. Was quite an adventure looking for my first cache and it contains some pretty nice loot.
- Simple crafting yet impliments a sense of discovery.
- Everything that looks lootable is most likely lootable.
- Base Building.
- Noob friendly. Berries and bows allow new players a better chance at survival. PvE allows them to get used to the game.
- Different server types: PvE for the people who just want to relax and not have to worry about getting punched by a fresh spawn, PvP for those who want to punch people as soon as they spawn, and Event servers for those who want to do something different.
- Emotes! If you want to rub your butt against your victim's face, you can!
- The game is realistic, but it isn't too serious to the point it is no longer fun. (Ex: The double bird flip)

Cons:
- The 3D sound is a bit off. Makes it hard to pin point a source of a sound.
- High Population. You will be running into a lot of people. Effects amount of loot and death by PvP.
- Survival in terms of eating and drinking is too easy. Berries are too pentiful, making starvation or dehydration near impossible.
- 90% of lootable containers (cabinets, fridges, dressers) tend to be empty.
- Zombies clip though fences/short walls at the moment.

This game is very fun. It sacrifices looks (mostly in comparison to DayZ) for functionality. Would recommend.
