Amazing concept and very well implemented overall.

The only thing which is a bit too much for me is the pal brutality, like the Pal Juicer. Although this is essentially the same functionality as all of "fusion" systems in other games, the phrasing literally gives you the feeling the pals are squeezed like lemons for their juice.

I wasn’t sure how Shapez 2 would evolve from its predecessor, which never really triggered a desire to play for me. Having not played the original, I approached this sequel with an open mind, and I must say, it exceeded every expectation I had. The developers have created something truly exceptional - a game that’s both fresh and innovative while retaining the core spirit of factory automation that fans love.

The level of polish and love for detail is immediately apparent. The user interface is sleek, the tutorials are great at teaching the user the basics, and the graphics are beautiful. The gameplay is a perfect blend of challenging yet relaxing, allowing you to focus on building, designing, and optimizing without the need for tedious resource gathering. This difference from many other games is what really did it for me, giving you more time to immerse yourself in the creative process of building the perfectly efficient machine.

Despite being in Early Access, Shapez 2 feels incredibly polished. The quality of life improvements, smooth construction mechanics, and the thoughtful design of every element show the developers' dedication to delivering an outstanding experience. The soundtrack, too, is a masterpiece - it was immediately added to my playlist for work and programming sessions.

I honestly can’t recommend Shapez 2 enough. Whether you're a fan of factory games or just enjoy building complex systems, this game offers an experience that's both satisfying and endlessly engaging. I can't wait to see what improvements and new content the developers will bring on the road to 1.0.
