The story is very original, the gameplay is unique, the characters are very likeable.
The fandom for this game is cancerous.
It's a really good game.

I loved this game on my xbox 360 before it broke. I saw it was on Steam and thought I should get it.
I have a ps3 controller, it works with the game but everythings all wrong. The triangle button which is the equivalent to the xbox 360 controller's Y button is marked as the A button, everything is marked with xbox buttons and the buttons aren't even set right at all. I tried to configure the controls correctly but it didn't solve anything. Other than this problem, I already know Brutal Legend is a wonderful game. It's fun, very original, has great music, has Ozzy Osbourne in it, has Jack Black and Kyle Gas in it, has many other famous legendary rockstars in it, it has an interesting perspective into the world of rock, has an original story, has an option to turn the blood setting off, has an option to censor curse words, has likeable characters, and it's just a really fun game. I still hope the ps3 controller situation I described before is solved really soon, otherwise this game being on my computer is rendered pretty much useless. Other than that, it's a really good game.
