If you enjoy managing resources and building cities/bases, this might be for you! It's in the same vein as Banished, devs are releasing new content seemingly each week, and there's mod support.

I've put almost 800 hours into this game and I LOVE it. If you enjoy managing resources and finding interesting ways to manage a base, this game is for you. The modding community is insane, and you can find a mod to tailor to almost any whim. They also increase the game difficulty and make it fresh.

If you enjoy city builders and managment, Banished is a great game for you to check out. Upon release, I would play in twelve hour+ bursts, trying to figure out the optimum layout to make the most successful place for my little banished people to live. It's challenging, it's humorous, and it will make you cry. I took a bit of a break from the game. but I re-purcased the game on Steam having previously bought it on GoG.com, and I'm working my way through the achievements again. It's still just as much fun as it was before, and I cannot wait to see if there will be a Workshop for the game, or the ability for other mods.

If you're a fan of city builders, this game is right up your alley. It differs from Sim City games but the core is the same. It can be difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's still difficult! Definitely recommended.
