've always asked myself, how can people play a game for 1000+ hours and then give it a thumbs down?

Then I played PUBG.

The European servers are in tatters, ruined by cheaters. I log in to 4 or 5 new perm-ban reports each session, but nothing changes. Cheats are readily available and are pre-installed in internet cafes in many parts of the world. Hit the death cam to spectate a HUYATV or DOUYUTV account and watch them 6x spray you with an AK from 100 yards, every shot hitting you in the head.

And it's not, GET GUD or REKT M8 - it's just sad. It takes all of the fun out of the game. I've played for over 1000 hours, I've paid for season passes and I've been promised changes and improvements - it just isn't happening. The devs don't care about about their player base and they don't listen to feedback.

PUBG still offers something other BR games don't and this is the game I want to play. When this game is good, it's probably one of my favourite games ever - certainly the game I've played the most.

I can put up with bugs, I can put up with poor geometry and I can put up with not being the best player at this game. But I can't put up with cheats.

Don't REGION LOCK CHINA, build a better cheat engine. I will happily play against anyone from anywhere in the world, but I don't want to play against cheaters.

It makes me incredibly sad to have to give this game a thumbs down.

I reviewed the first Zup game 2 years ago. I ignored all sequels that have an achievement count of over 100. The same goes for the qop series and whatever else is out there.

I missed playing them, though, as I found the games' physics-based puzzle approach attractive especially with its accompanying, relaxing music.

In any case, I checked the trailer of XS and decided to purchase. Why? Because whilst the basic concept remains the same (start with making the red object explode) we now have a bar at the bottom containing some missing elements. We use these to finish the construction of the level before playing it.

First, you'd think it's a challenge to find out what the creators had in mind but the real fun is when you simply don't use all items you have at your disposal. The first 50 levels are interesting and challenging enough - the last 10 are simply too easy.

There is literally nothing I can say bad about this game! I've never felt as connected to a character and invested in their story as much as Deacon St.John, and will have this game ingrained in my memory for a long time in a similar way that I do with Red Dead Redemption 2 and even Rdr2 doesn't hold a candle to this gem.

From beginning to end it is a heartwarming, gut-wrenching and epic story without compare, it's almost like I can feel everything Deacon feels all the way through, his struggles, his frustration, his pain and his joy... It all feels real in a way that no other game does.

I can't say enough good words for this masterpiece, it's almost more than just a game and in a way transcends the boundaries of what I thought possible for a game, no character is two dimensional and so I feel like I've grown a bond with everyone Deacon has and so every death hurts like it would in real life since these are more than just AI and Npcs but people, no one is there to say a cool line or deliver exposition, they are fleshed out and relatable more than even RDR2 which I thought had the most impactful characters and story before I played this.
