Poppy Playtime was created by a corporation who thrives off of harassment, bullying & cash grabs. the game director behind Poppy Playtime bullied an up-coming Animator so hard that the kid checked himself into a mental institution. If you were a YouTube animator and EnchantedMob liked your content, they'd ask you to sign a contract and join them.

If you however turned down the contract (where they would take 1/3 the earnings of each video said animator created), EnchantedMob would harrass you, spam you with insults, and create video(s) which mocked your content.

There are rumors that before Poppy Playtime was in the works, the aspiring & bullied animator in question told EnchantedMob about their upcoming horror game "Venge". The game has similar-ish style to Poppy Playtime, which leads many to believe that EnchantedMob essentially ripped off the animator's work-in-progress game.

Alongside all this drama, EnchantedMob is milking this game everyway they can. Once their tech demo of a chapter was successful, they immediately launched merch- including tshirts, plushies, and even pins. Not to mention, some of the in-game lore is LOCKED behind NFTs of their own characters. 'Want to know more about our game? Spend $15 to buy a digital picture and find out.' Oh, and there's word of a Poppy Playtime movie in the works.

Do NOT buy this game. Go buy "Venge" instead. It's a longer game with a similar story, made by a single indie developer, and created with love- not for the intention of milking it's success.

Venge is on Steam as well, so go drop a few dollars and support someone who was bombarded with enough insults to drive themself to check into a mental institution.

Overall, scumbag company which started up through Minecraft Animation videos for actual children, is scummy.
