This game has such a great potential, but graphics are awful. I had to quit it, because it caused me an episode of PTSD from Wolfenstein 3D vibes

I highly recommend this game. It's a type of game which is fun and hard to play at the same time.

Storyline is interesting, but too bad for the game to have only "two levels" after which players can switch positions.

It definitely needs more levels in the future.

Given that I played Frostpunk before, I find it very closely Frostpunk-like.

BUT that's OK, the theme is different, resources are different and more of them, tech is different but less of them, expeditions have different mechanics which I didn't understand at first time.

Game is great, but it's still have something missing. After few game-days (seasons) the game begins to be repetitive.

Overall I recommend the game, but it's not the best in it's category. Let's wait for EZ2.

Why the game reviews are Mostly/Very Positive?

After starting a game, I had only one country to chose from, that may be part of the tutorial IDK.

BUT, the tutorial itself was not explaining any of the game mechanics. It's like done by "pro player", just says: click here, then here and done... No whatsoever explanation what that action do... So I though, maybe I just watch some tutorial online or explore it later in game.

Right... Well after 3 minutes of mindless clicking (is this clicking simulator with WW1 theme?) it just asked me If want to "INVEST SOME MONEY" - meaning if I'm willing Pay to win, or just lose the game.

At this stage I was really upset. After that another popup was shown, asking for my email and password...

Why the heck you need my email, I have a STEAM account. Don't answer. I know why...

Even if this game is "Free To Play", I would like to refund it, it took 3 minutes of my playtime, several clicks and about 200 MB of network traffic to download.

In addition to that I had to wait two more minutes to event write this review, because there's a minimum 5 min playtime needed to write a review...

So thanks for the worst game ever.

What the heck is this game?

I gave it a try after CS2 update.
First attempt, after like ~90% loaded: "Connection lost to a server"
Second attempt, I played for a 10 secs, then kicked "Steam logon is required". WTF? I am logged in to a Steam.
Third attempt, "Connection timeout" (didn't even start load screen)

So yeah. GG Valve.

Definitelly must have game if you're interested in WW2 history.

You can experiment with scenarios of how would WW2 timeline went if something else happened or was done differently.

Also you can experience new countries, or destroying existing countries. Also you can nuke US :)

Not a fan of this type of "games" (it's more like educational software), but I admire authors for story part and exhaustive fact checking. Also the artistic part is very nicely done.

I can imagine that this would be used as part of interactive classes in schools, or in museum, but honestly people who are interested in history, especially history of Czechs during WW2 already know majority of infomation that is being told in the stories.

Nice way how game studio can help. 100% of the income is donated to people in need.

I wish more game studios would release some kind of DLC or cosmetic with Ukrainian motives and donated whole amount to Ukraine.

I've seen more completed games in "Early Access" stage of development, than this piece of crap. Waste of money.

One of the best & hardest games I've ever played.
