Enjoyed this like a Blockbuster Playstation 2 rental on a Tuesday night. All the jank none of the loading screens makes for an elegantly frustrating series of quickly repeated deaths. The game came out in 2013 and we desperately need a sequel for this God Of War clone. Deliciously empty gaming calories, you will not be improved as a person from playing this nor should you be.

The Mountain Lighting of adventure/action well worth a purchase on sale. May cause Crash Bandicoot flashbacks.

Guided tour into the sensations and reality of the narrator in HPL's "Dagon". A well built experience that despite being played by myself without a VR helm still managed to impress with moist terror. Within Bit Golem's clammy guidance I eagerly await for other frightening tales. Low interactivity but high on ambiance best played with headphones. The trivia discoveries were informative and respectful to HPL's output.

Worth a try since this short story snippet is free.

Clumsy controls, quick time events for buttons that don't correspond to those listed in the options making a later boss encounter frustrating to the point of quitting. Melee attack that takes your thumb off one of the movement sticks so you're stuck in place that does nothing anyways.

Softlock glitches galore.

This was released and I feel bad for the indie developers that didn't have enough cash to polish this but that's all I can feel, bad. Lots of effort for prop based puns and an art direction lifted from Timesplitters but with none of the developed gameplay.

I received this as a Steam Sale gift, I felt indebted that I had to play this, the person apologized profusely afterwards.

The developers would be better supported if you donated to their Patreon instead of buying Zombeer.

"It's full!"
"HEADSHOT!"
"I'm not trying to open an ammo store"
"Super ZOMBEER"

I've played the games that seem to be direct influences in this one's creation such as Super Metroid for the SNES and later Castlevania Symphony Of The Night. If you've tried those games and not enjoyed them "A Robot Named Fight" might not be a good choice.

If you're still interested then there's a lot to enjoy once you get into the gameplay loop. Iterated exploration with frequent permanent deaths resetting your game but not your discovered power ups and locations. You can discover save points in the game but they're good for one use only so they're more bionic band aids than a safety net for reckless play. There's proper tension from map completion potentially being wiped out completely from usually forgivable mistakes in jumps or mismanaging enemy swarms.

The enemies have specific behaviors with subtypes and the occasional difficult alpha beasts that contain greater rewards for defeating. Rooms for specific levels are randomized but can be recognized after enough playthroughs. Each time you die on the progress save slot your robot's version number goes up I'm on "Fight 12" at the moment. There's some specialized controller inputs like wall jumping that require old school precise timing.

So if you enjoy being careful, occasionally frustrated and abused by the digital deities of Random Number Generation then give "A Robot Named Fight" a try. There's pixelated gore and blood splatter accompanied by a nice chiptune style soundtrack to keep the ears and eyes occupied while your thumbs rage. On that note I've only played this with a controller so play experience may change with keyboard.

Good luck against the MEGABEAST!

If only the 90s continued into a dark cyberfuture of bloodsports. Lament no longer! Radical Heights WAS a game where you could experience the highs and lows of Smash TV Battle Royale. Lots of excellent ideas and not enough time or money to implement them.

It was desperation personified, a clinging attempt fo a drowning studio that didn't catch the golden ticket of whatever consumed the player base at that particular moment. Better luck next time and much love to Boss Key. They tried their best with nothing left in the tank and came up with a brief gasp of gnarly fun.

More customization options, a more lively city and greater range of Jackass level activbities than later installments.

Play this with "The Gentlemen Of The Row" mod toolset and it'll be an amazing experience. Improved lighting and more weapons along with stability fixes.

There's also a mod for improved radio station audio on the SRmods forums .

Running this in Win7 means it feels like a 1940s cartoon in terms of graphical speedup. If you don't like that unintended feature there's always "Saint's Row Powertools" to ratchet things down to console speed. You might also need to play it in windowed mode.

Aside from that a great experience well worth Uncle Gary's concussion induced endorsement!

For the cost of a movie ticket lose yourself in a pixelated dystopia. Fun music and a silly set up keeps things from getting too grim.

Played with a xbox 360 contyroller and everything was smooth and intuitive, Lots of emergent strategies with "Gorilla Escape Hiring Run" being the tip of the iceberg.

Tried it out on a free weekend so I'd say try it while you can and expect new features later. Would buy this instead of dinner out!

Played through six hours on my first run.

Great feel and an always changing set of circumstances makes what would normally be a routine fetch quest grind into something really entertaining.

Lots of lore that's fully narrated and tied to what you find and equip. A lot of fun worldbuilding.

It's worth the purchase if you enjoyed Secret Of Mana and adventure games in general.

A good precursor to what Transistor became.

If you were ever willing to spend the game's cost in quarters or tokens at the arcade then give it a try for the home version.

The pixel art is a thing of beauty and there's a variety of weird forms your soldier of fortune can be gimmicked into.

One of the gameplay ancestors of Mercenary Kings.

Roughly 30 hours of varied entertaining jackassery for the main game. Played mostly with a 360 wired controller but did retreat to mouse aiming for some of the shooting sections.

"The Saints Save Christmas" Holiday DLC pack was heartwarmingly insane while "Enter The Dominatrix" entertains but seems a rehash if you've already beaten the main campaign.

Feels like Crackdown, Hulk Ultimate Destruction, The Matrix and Prototype had an open world problem child that ate hallucinogenic paste. Traveling through Simulation Steelport is exhilarating and eventually weaponized.

If you've played any of the previous Saint's Row installments your enjoyment of this one will only be increased. This game has a sense of history that suggests fan fiction was switched with the original design doc.

If you've ever wanted to download a car, cause Sims to glitch spasm to defragmentation and kick alien ass without bubblegum this game's a worthwhile purchase.
