For TD nerds its great and theres nothing like this out there. I love TD and sometimes it can get boring.... ADD COOP! seeing other peoples building and having other ideas has given me so many ideas that wouldnt have happened otherwise. The game "simple" enough to scratch the casual itch, but it can get incredibly challenging if you want to.

Yes only if you eventually plan to at least spending some cash.

It is pay to win if you think this scenario is true:

I want to get to end game as fast as possible even if that means i dont know how to play the game and i will be denied from raids for being a noob.

Otherwise it is not pay to win. I would call it more like pay to fast forward.

The game has its typical "monthly" which i have no problem with. I do buy the monthly cause it provide certain utilities that i must have - but honestly its kinda not worth it.... i guess only if you are going to MAIN this game only, then its worth it.... I stream it 4 hours a day so i kinda have to lol

The combat of this game is like no other mmo. A lot of people bash it because of the top down perspective, but that its a genre, not its quality. Obviously COD players think CSGO is bad, but they are inherently 2 very different shooting systems, regardless if the "objectives" of the game are the same.

Same thing applies here, if you like the combat style and feel of games like diablo, path of exile and even league of legends, this will already feel "familiar" (and amazing <3)

There is a point in the game where it goes from "auto pilot just go to the next waypoint" to "ok i need to google on how to make gold this early to craft this so i can hone that"... and the vertical progress slows down DRAMATICALLY - especially if you are free to play player.

"end game content" is time gated meaning out of the ~6-8 end game activities, you can do them 1-3 times per day total - some 3 per WEEK MAX!!!

This mechanic pushes people to have no other option that to level up Alts and funnel resources to your "main" as one of the few available mechanic if you want to play this for hours every day.

Periodically they will have a "pass" where as long as you have steam trusted status, you can get one character per server(North America East/West and Europe) straight to the end game. This while it sounds awesome, if you are brand new to the game this kinda hurts you more than anything. Unless you have a friend that plays this game and its ready for 6 hours worth of questions coming his way, i STRONGLY suggest to do the whole story/questing from scratch, at least on your very first time. The game does a FANTASTIC job at explaining how to actually play it, including "purple quests" as guides. If you are one of the people that just skips every quest dialog and interaction, you might want to read a few sentences before hitting skip to make sure its not teaching you an essential part of the game. This happened to me none stop until i slowed down a little bit and started reading quests. If you find yourself asking "wait how do i do that tho" you probably skipped an important quest dialogue.

The game is absolutely gorgeous... even though its a top down veiw, when zoomed in it has very high quality visuals and many many GORGEOUS sceneries.. Check My screenshots!!! I only have a 5700XT and it runs GOOD. (there are some minor stuttering issues that are well covered on reddit on how to easy fix)

Most of the mounts and costumes are mostly cash shop but the game gives you 3-4 mounts and pets in your leveling journey with much more available for free via side quests. Which brings me to the last point.

As a free player there will be a point where if you want to play the game without any restrictions you will either have to spend a lot of money, or just spend a LOT of time doing side quests, "rapport" quests, Building and leveling up your "house", and doing a LOT of lifeskills - basically horizontal progress. That being said there are THOUSANDS of sidequests everywhere - the map is HUGE. at some point you adquire a ship and you get to (mostly) freely navigate the continents and hundreds of islands that range from troll islands to raid boss islands - this is all aside from the "main" game progress included all for free.

If this wall of text sounds good to you then you are going to have a lot of fun.

Although I clicked yes im not really sure. Even with a top of the line PC, The updates take a REALLY long time. It took me about 6 minutes to download the game and i was hyped that it wasnt that big and it was free and we "we will be in the game in no time"................

I have witnesses to this: i played 2 TFT games which i WON the second one (for time relativity) and the game was still at 70% done updating. Out of my 11 current hours "in game" i may have actually played for 5-6.

I write this review while the game just started another update again...........

The game itself looks gorgeous and it seems fairly cookie cutter mmo so far.
